You?ll work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, and outside partners to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, enhance manufacturing processes, and support the future of automation within the facility.

If you enjoy being hands-on, investigating challenging equipment issues, and seeing the direct results of your work on the production floor, this could be a great opportunity for you.

What You?ll Do

  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, performance, and energy usage through automation and controls enhancements.
  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives designed to increase equipment reliability.
  • Analyze equipment and process performance and recommend improvements based on operating data.
  • Manage and support FactoryTalk Metrics and Historian, including associated databases used for production reporting and performance monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate electrical drawings, controls documentation, programming records, and as-built documentation.
  • Support the design, development, testing, and implementation of manufacturing process improvements.
  • Participate in plant capital projects involving new equipment, automation, electrical systems, and controls.
  • Help develop the technical capabilities of the team by providing training and support to machine operators and maintenance technicians.
  • Conduct equipment inspections, assess equipment condition, and recommend corrective or improvement actions.
  • Partner with outside contractors on controls-related installations, repairs, service, and project work.
  • Maintain critical automation and controls components to support equipment availability.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and other plant-wide initiatives.
  • Provide technical support as needed to help maintain reliable manufacturing operations.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in automation, controls, engineering, or a similar technical role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and industrial control systems.
  • Advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to create, read, and interpret logic diagrams, flow diagrams, electrical drawings, and controls documentation.
  • Experience working with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Experience with FactoryTalk Metrics, Historian, databases, or similar manufacturing information systems is highly valuable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex equipment and controls issues.
  • Ability to effectively plan and prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, and other teams.
  • Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.

Our Total Compensation Package Includes:
