Job Summary
This position is with a longstanding and expandingCPG firm in southern New England. You will be working for a great manager with extensive knowledge of siteoperations.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of ammonia refrigeration equipment throughout the facility.
- Managing PSM, CMMS, EPA and all relevant refrigeration documentation.
- Troubleshooting electrical and motor controls, bio chillers, compressors, fans, pumps, spiral chiillers/freezers, etc.
- Manage and work on preventive maintenance programs to help improve performance, reduce refrigerant loss, and control expenses.
- Respond to emergency calls as needed
- Monitor leak detection system

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience with ammonia-based refrigeration systems. *Please note that this is a 3rd shift position (11pm
7am).
